[Well. He did ask for it, so yeah he'll be with Nero in the galley in the morning, waiting for him to cook up breakfast. It was a good night, so Bradley is giving off positive vibes right now.]

What're you gonna make?

[ Nero's pretty much always anxious, but that takes a backseat to the affection he feels.

There's a sense of nostalgia there as well. ]

It's early... Crispy egg on toast for you?

Yeah, that sounds good.

[Simple, but always good. Perfect for a morning meal.

Bradley knows well enough to give Nero some space while cooking. He's going to linger in the kitchen though, out of the way but still watching Nero cook.]

Glad to have some real food here too.

[ Steal food and get chased out of the kitchen.

Otherwise he's content to cook two portions. ]

You wouldn't starve.

I wouldn't, but yours is still better.

[Buttering up the cook.]

I'd still cook for you, y'know.

[There's still a surge of affection.]

[oh no that's cute. Bradley is feeling that affection now too, and it's hard to tell if it's Nero's he's feeling or if it's his own.]

[ There's two of them, they're likely amplifying it. He'd find it embarrassing if he actually listened to what was going on. ]

Gettin' too used to it?

Maybe, but that's not a bad thing right?

[ They still have a while before the next Great Calamity, but there's a distinct pang of guilt.

One day, he will die at Bradley's hand, after all. It's what he deserves. ]

[Even if he doesn't know what thoughts are causing it, he feels that. No pangs of guilt allowed!]

Have you considered learning a little?

Don't need to. I can keep myself fed well enough whenever I'm off on a mission. Anything I make wouldn't be as good as what you can make anyway.

If you put in the effort, you could do a decent job.

Yeah! I can cook meat pretty well, especially over a campfire.

[He has a one-track mind.]

It's always meat with you. At least balance it out with fruit or something.

What fruit would go good with grilled fish?
