[Brad has set up the sitting room with all of the necessary items. Pillows? Check. Blankets? Check. Tea and snacks? Check. Everything is set up perfectly for an evening bonding activity.

Now all that needs to happen is to gather the others, which he can do by finding them and telling them a single thing:]

So. Who wants some tea?

[Once everyone has gathered, Brad sits down and grabs a cup of tea. He adds some sugar to it and stirs it in as he speaks:]

It seems like the witch is a 2,000 year old shut-in virgin. He got sooooo embarrassed when I taunted him for not showing up at the kissing booth.

[Hamel is here for tea (and tea), but she doesn't really know what tea means as far as slang so she can't appreciate the connection. Alas.]

Yes, he seems unused to affection... It's kind of charming.

Right? He made the funniest face when I flirted with him directly. He may be old but he's young at heart.

[He does like teasing Ish, unfortunately.]

[She holds a cup herself, but seems to be a bit too busy looking from one of them to the other to drink from it yet.]

It sounds like the both of you like our host.

Why are you guys flirting with the guy that wants us to suffer?

Like to tease him, yeah.

[He has his reasons for it. Mostly that Ish is very easy to bully.]

One: it's funny.

Two: secret reasons that prying ears shouldn't hear.

If he's not able to handle it, it sounds like an effective way to get back at him.

[Thinking about that reply and Ayaka's follow-up for a bit and also looking at her magpie friend, who is standing on her knee with its head tilted. They're quite clever birds.]

Why not try making him jealous?

[People who were there for her confession might remember that this didn't end super well for any party involved, but maybe that's also the point.]

Make him jealous? How? I can't exactly show him up when he's got my magic blocked.

[a brief (futile) look over to where Bradley sits, before turning back and raising one eyebrow at Ayaka]

Whether the Witch enjoys receiving Bradley's affection doesn't affect Bradley's joy in giving it.

[Inflicting Bradley on someone like the witch seems perfect reasonable for the suffering they've all received.]

Yeah, it'd be a shame if he was unable to torture us because he found out that one of us was his type.

Well, I'm glad one of us here is having a good time with Ish.

We might be able to torture him if that happened.

Don't tell me you're seriously considering this.

He reminds me of a guy I know back home. It makes it easier to mess with him.

Hmm, good point... and the woman he cares for isn't here, as far as we know. There must be a certain kind of attention you could generate, for him or yourself alike.

Right? He really doesn't act like an old man. Though, I wouldn't say you act your age, either...

I can turn myself into a woman with my magic. If I get it back maybe I can mess with him like that.

Pshhh, wizards just live on a longer scale than humans do. If you compare the ages I'd be about the same as a 25-year-old human.

[Why would you ever? she thinks, before reminding herself that women are not powerless without names or titles in so many of these worlds. They seem capable of almost anything.]

More's the point, if you get your power back, don't you think putting it toward another goal would be better?

It's magic. Just like how I could turn into an animal form if I wanted. If we could find out what his goddess looks like I could make myself look like her and tell him to knock this shit off.

[He is greatly exaggerating his magical skill here, transformation magic is not his specialty.]

[All magic is lumped into an indecipherable, mythological pile of otherness to her, though Andrew's doing her best to catch up on years, centuries, millennia, and universes of different distinctions. She's not exactly a quick study, and there's a lot that hasn't sunken in yet.]

Hmm, are you sure that's all you'd do?

[She's pretty sure he'd play a prank or two before he cut to the real chase.]

Then how would you get your powers back in the first place? You'd be looking for someone to forge that order so you could forge yours. [Maybe that's where the real tea comes in.]
