[He sounds disappointed. He would love to have a good fight, even with the handicap of no magic.
He slips off the cloak and rids himself of the thermal layer, plus the vest. Neither of those have tools or weapons on them, so they can stay behind. The cloak goes back on though, and he draws the hood up over his head to demonstrate how well it hides his identity.]
[Simply put. Viktor isn't one to mince words or give shallow flattery. Brad will look well off in that quality of garb, but not so exaggerated, like a lost King. If he catches any trouble, it wouldn't be any more than Viktor might get, looking like a Piltie, these days. At least he has the local accent and dialect to support him, those of the Undercity do not often mess with their own people.
Or, that's how it used to be, before Shimmer.
Viktor finishes dressing and locks his leg brace into place. His hair is messy, wet and clinging to him, but it will dry as they walk. He doesn't really care for his appearance all that much. As long as it's out of his face, it's fine.]
[Brad knows a spell to get hair to dry fast, but he holds off on offering it. Viktor seems ready to go, and Brad won't delay him further. Besides, his hair is short enough to dry on a walk, and Brad has a comb stuck away in one of his pockets if it's needed.
It's a long walk though, even just to the entrance of Zaun, and Brad is already wishing they could have just flown. He's not tired or anything, but he's also used to how much time is saved by flying. In his mind, he's saying 'we could have already been there'.
He won't say it out loud though. Not to Viktor, and not where prying eyes and ears might notice the conversation.
He will whisper a question to VIktor though:]
We're not gonna need papers or anything to go there, right?

How's this? Better?
