[ it's a good gamble on Bradley's part—Aventurine does have to keep up appearances that the IPC is very much against taking anything by force and that this world has a great deal of control in what does or doesn't ultimately happen to it. Even if he catches on to the other's intentions, Aventurine indeed can't go bully the Sage and the Prince into anything unless someone drastic occurs.
As for his understanding in regards to the mana stones, also a fair and valid gamble, but whether that will matter much to Aventurine is going to be where the stakes truly matter. So Bradley has one high risk bet outstanding of two, which really, is not bad in terms of the general odds at this point. ]
