Ah, yeah, that's my curse. Whenever I sneeze, I teleport somewhere. It can be a real pain in the ass sometimes.

Basically, everyone who survived the previous calamity- the one before Nero joined the Sage's wizards- got cursed by the calamity. We have no idea how to get rid of our curses either, beyond "defeat the calamity for good".

Honestly, sneeze-teleporting isn't as bad as some of the others. I'll take it over never being able to sleep again.

Technically it's the curse that was placed on the moon that's trying to kill us, but the moon is still involved.

Dunno. There's some crazy fucks in my world. Consider this: I'm probably the most sane and responsible wizard in the entire Northern Country right now.

Well yeah. But the point is, there's some nutters there. I could see someone cursing the moon like that.

I dunno. It sounds counterproductive to curse a moon to kill everyone when you also live there.

Yeah, it kinda is. It's not somewhere I would tell people to visit.

Plus the Central and Southern tinies would never forgive us if we didn't come back.

Yep. Central Tiny is Riquet, and Southern Tiny is Mitile.

And a couple of kids were fighting that thing because...?

They weren't supposed to be. The briars grew up all around us when some bastard wizard attacked us at the castle. Those two hang out all the time, and they and the Eastern tiny- Shino- got trapped apart from everyone else.

We got really lucky. Nobody died from that.
